Copmanthorpe Carnival

Next year’s Carnival runs from 2nd July to Carnival Day on 6th July 2024

Copmanthorpe Carnival was first held fifty six years ago and has always been extremely popular.  In recent years it has grown from a traditional village event into one that draws visitors from across the city  and outlying villages. Copmanthorpe Carnival boasts live music, children’s activities, fairground rides, stalls, a food court and lots more. The team will be presenting great local live music from the festival stage with a terrific range of top local bands, artists, dancers and much more.  

Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre’s large sports field will be packed full of stalls, fairground rides and games including bouncy castles, giant inflatable slides, a food court and much much more!  Carnival Day will be the culmination of more than a week of events including a wine tasting, art exhibition, comedy night, and much more. A huge day of fun, sports and live music!  Attractions include:
