Last years Carnival was, regrettably, cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Carnival team is now working on plans for this year’s Carnival, due to take place on 3rd July 2021. For all the latest news, info, bands, etc: click here.
Copmanthorpe Carnival was first held fifty three years ago and has always been extremely popular. In recent years it has grown from a traditional village event into one that draws visitors from across the city and outlying villages. Copmanthorpe Carnival boasts live music, children’s activities, fairground rides, stalls, a food court and lots more. The team will be presenting great local live music from the festival stage with a terrific range of top local bands, artists, dancers and much more.
