The importance of recycling can not be overstated. If waste can’t be avoided (by reducing packaging, for example) then re-using it, either directly or via recycling schemes is the next best option.
City of York Council collects several categories of recyclable materials every two weeks via kerbside collections. To supplement this Copmanthorpe Parish Council has established a collection point for some specific packaging and other items that the City Council cannot currently recycle.
